National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921. Membership in the National Honor Society is highly selective, and is based on Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.

Junior and Seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 90 or higher will be invited to participate in the NHS application process, which includes completing an information packet and being interviewed by two members of the Faculty Advisory Committee. The Faculty Advisory Committee makes all decisions regarding membership. New members and their families are invited to attend the annual Induction Ceremony in October.
