We are pleased to announce the 2019 New York Times College Scholarship Program. Since 1999, The Times has supported more than 290 extraordinary graduates of New York City high schools who have attended colleges across the United States and who have studied in exchange programs around the world.
The Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors in public, private or parochial schools in the five boroughs who have demonstrated academic achievement and community service while facing significant obstacles.
This year, we intend to support 10 students with scholarships of up to $15,000 a year. Students must enroll in a full-time course of study at an accredited college or university in the United States. Each scholarship will be renewable, as long as the student maintains a good academic record.
We encourage students who best meet the application criteria to apply.
The application deadline is Monday, November 12, 2018. All applications must be completed and submitted online at this web location.
Please feel free to contact our scholarship phone number, 212-556-1923, should you have any questions about the process.
