This year's projects included working on improvements for our new science labs, preparing toiletry kits for the homeless, creating cards to show appreciation for our First Responders, and helping to clean and organize different rooms throughout the school.
When asked why they dedicate their time to the SEP Day of Service, many students simply said "because they enjoy it". Senior, Jordyn Willoughby shared why she enjoys participating in the Day of Service, saying, “It’s a chance to help those in need, build connections with classmates, and step away from the classroom for a day.”
A massive thank you to everyone who lent their help and brightened the lives of those receiving our donations. Know that your efforts are greatly appreciated, and you should be proud of what we achieved by working together. Special shoutout to our Director of Campus Ministry, Deacon Andrew Ciccaroni, for organizing and executing the Day of Service to give back and bring our community together. Events like these are important to maintaining St. Edmund Prep’s mission to help students "instill the Gospel values in our students" and create confident, servant leaders.
