Dear St. Edmund Prep Family,
It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Mrs. Lisa Rizzo as the new Assistant Principal for Student Affairs at St. Edmund Preparatory High School. Please join me in extending our warmest congratulations and welcome to Mrs. Rizzo.
Mrs. Rizzo is a graduate of The Mary Louis Academy and received a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s College in Child Study with a concentration in sociology. She continued her education at Fordham University where she completed her Master’s Degree in School Building Leadership.
Her professional experience in Catholic Education began at Queen of the Rosary Catholic Academy where she taught middle school math. In 2020, she joined the faculty at St. Mark Catholic Academy where she continued to teach middle school math. In 2022, she was appointed Assistant Principal of St. Mark.
From the very first time we met, I knew Mrs. Rizzo was going to be an extraordinary candidate for this unique and challenging position. As the interview process continued, I was impressed with Mrs. Rizzo’s dedication to the larger mission of Catholic education, her passion for academics, her strong philosophy on education and her desire to join the St. Edmund Prep community. After each of our conversations I could envision Mrs. Rizzo as an integral member of my team and and asset to St. Edmund Prep.
Once again, please join me in welcoming Mrs. Rizzo to the St. Edmund Prep Family. I ask you all to join me in offering our prayers for her as she begins this new role. I look forward to working closely with her to continue St. Edmund Prep’s mission of preparing young men and women to be bold learners, compassionate servant leaders and faithful disciples of the Lord.
