Dan Alvarez '12 joined us to share his experience with AI as an Enterprise Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services. Students learned about how AI is being used by major companies today and the background of the use of data to inform machine language modeling. The group also engaged in discussion surrounding the challenges and ethical implications of AI.
When asked about the workshop, one student said "It was an amazing time learning about AI. I would love to do this again in the future. Today's workshop provided me much needed information and gave insight on possible future career paths in the engineering world. I found this session really helpful to my plans towards pursuing a career in AI Engineering."
