Two St. Edmund Prep varsity basketball players recently eclipsed the 1,000-career-point plateau.On the boys’ side, guard Shemar Latty '20 accomplished the feat on February 13th as part of a career-high 35-pt. performance. He became the seventh male and first junior in school history to reach the mark.Latty has been a two-time Tablet All-Star and was named to the CHSAA ‘A’ All-League team last season.
Just two days after Latty on February 15th, girls' guard Jordan Lauterborn '19 celebrated Senior Night by scoring her 1,000th career point in her last regular season home game.She became the eighth female in school history to join the exclusive club. A Tablet All-Star last year, Lauterborn will be attending SUNY Cortland, N.Y.
